Hi, I’m Heather and I love weddings. Like really love weddings!
I started out in corporate and private events around 15 years ago before moving into the wedding industry 7 years later. I initially worked as a wedding coordinator across a couple of different venues, such as hotels & barns and have been involved in over 400 weddings which has given me a real understanding of how each day is different and all the ways dreams can be brought to life.
To supplement all my experience, I used the time during the lockdowns of the Pandemic to gain qualifications with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, gaining formal knowledge to support my existing work experience.
I’m lucky enough to live just outside the Lake District, giving me access to truly some of the most amazing locations to get married.
When not planning and obsessing over weddings, I can usually be found adventuring with my husband and gorgeous daughter (I can’t wait to help plan her wedding one day!) or out running.
I always say wedding planning is two jobs. All the planning and admin in the lead up to the day and then the running of and execution of said plans. And I LOVE both sides!
Schedules, excel sheets, budgets, all things admin have always been my strong point – you should see my to-do lists!
Then there’s nothing like running a wedding. Seeing all the hard work come together, working with all the fab suppliers and bringing a couples dreams to life, it really is the best!!
